Mercury`s EFI 40hp and 30hp four-strokes are compact, but packed with big performance features. They are built to take you further on a tank of fuel and increase your enjoyment on the water. Quiet power just when you need it – and gentle on the environment as well. Mercury four-stroke technology inherently provides whisper-quiet performance. Full cowls, an air intake silencer and through-prop exhaust contribute to the low-noise benefits. They`re also great engines for fishing, with outstanding trolling capability. The overhead cam design allows for idling speeds as low as 750rpm.
