In Norway boat construction and boat building in wood has a long tradition all the way since the long boats of the Vikings about 800 AD.
The new fibre glass technology revolutionised the boat building from handwork to industry in the 1960's.
Nordkapp was founded in 1967, in the historic Viking town of Sarpsborg, Norway. Nordkapp Boats were from the very beginning renowned for their seaworthiness, safety and functional design.
In 1992 the Nordkapp brand was taken over by Ronny Antonsen, then a young entrepreneur of 23 years.
This was the year that Nordkapp was reborn with new visions and with Espen Thorup as the new main designer. Our aim today is to develop functional and safe sport boats, bowriders and day/weekend cruisers for the modern family needs. With our Scandinavian design heritage and long tradition, we develop and build high quality boats that will last for years in all weather conditions and climates.
Nordkapp Enduro 500
The Nordkapp Enduro 500 is the ideal boat for water sports, fishing trips or just exploring the coast line. The big steering console with rounded off windshield, gives good protection against wind or water splashes.
Nordkapp Enduro 600
Nordkapp Enduro 600 is the ideal boat to explore the coast line, go for fishing trips, water ski driving or just relax in the sun. Enduro 600 has the same steering console as the Enduro 500. A metre extra in length gives much more cockpit space with 2 separate steering chairs.
Nordkapp Avant 500
Nordkapp’s Avant 500 is a practical bowrider with a wrap-around windshield and a full enclosing canopy. A walk through door in the windshield gives easy access to the front seating area.
Nordkapp Avant 600
In 2008, Nordkapp will introduce a new and upgraded version of the Avant 600. The new Avant 600 will have the same smart layout and excellent use of space as its predecessor.
Nordkapp Avant 620
The Nordkapp Avant 620 is the big brother in the Avant family. The hull is long enough to give the feeling of being in a ‘large’ boat. High inside freeboard ensures safety for the whole family.
Nordkapp Noblesse 650
The Noblesse 650 is a modern day cruiser with a spacious cockpit, and sleeping space for 2 in the cabin. The boat has been designed with a deep V-hull, which ensure a soft and comfortable ride. There is a practical easy pull out sun bed, integrated in the seating area. Solid stairs and a flip open section in the windscreen make an easy access to the deck.
Nordkapp Noblesse 760
The Nordkapp Noblesse 760 is a the largest in the Noblesse family - a modern daycruiser. She is designed for day and weekend trips, fishing, entertaining and general watersports. The Noblesse`s special design features the rigging of large outboard engines, with either single or twin installations.
